Crises are part of life.
Separations, illness, accidents or the loss of a job may shake us in our foundations. We have to deal with fear and pain while keeping our lives going, or getting our bearings in a new situation.
In this group, you will learn tools that help you better weather these shocks.
We look at how the crisis limits us – whether it makes us desperate or tensed, lonely or confused. Then we learn to reduce these effects, through discussions and thinking processes, but above all through body attention, relaxation and physical activation. Working with the body brings a peace, clarity, strength and stability that we can use to better deal with what has happened.
A time of crisis is also one of freedom: We just cannot bother with the things that aren’t really important, and we see clearly what really counts for us.
In the end, this may even use this crisis to orientate our lives more towards that.
“Turning a Crisis into an Opportunity” is a group of four meetings, each of which deals with a specific component of the crisis – stability, fear, pain, responsibility and activity – and includes training between the meetings. That way, you will go through a systematic guided learning process that makes a lasting change.
