Anger has a bad rep. But, as any other emotion, it has a vital function: our anger protects us and allows us to fight for what we love – or to leave circumstances that aren’t good for us.
It is a part of our will that gives us the strength and courage to make changes. It allows us to say no, and to be true to ourselves even against resistance.
This is how anger is healthy and constructive.
However, in everyday life, we often experience it differently: we keep grudges, or we express it too massively – or not at all, keeping things in and losing energy and joy over it. We may not even feel it when something violates our borders, or notice it when it is too late to act.
In this workshop, we use bodywork and body attention to regain a balanced experience of anger – a state of strength and clarity which is actually a prerequisite for living the life you want and having relationships that enrich both sides.
